Combating Violence Against Women

· Our Approach

(A Decade of Field Impact and Future Strategy: 2013 - 2026)

Academic Overview:

The Nali Organization views women’s rights and safety as the nucleus of social equilibrium. Our "Countering Gender-Based Violence (GBV)" project stands as one of our most enduring strategic initiatives. Since its inception in 2013, the project has evolved from grassroots advocacy into a structured educational framework designed to dismantle systemic extremism and promote gender equity.

Operational Milestones (2013 - 2023):

Over the past decade, Nali has executed a series of high-impact interventions focused on:

Legal & Psychological Literacy: Empowering women with the knowledge to navigate legal systems and the psychological resilience to break cycles of abuse.

Cultural Deconstruction: Targeting the root causes of violence by challenging outdated patriarchal norms through extensive community dialogue.

Empowerment through Education: Training women in "Strategic Conduct" to ensure they can manage high-risk situations and maintain their roles as the primary educators of future generations in a secure environment.

Future Vision (Towards 2026):

As we conclude a decade of significant achievement, Nali is currently engineering its next-generation strategy, set for implementation in 2026. This future roadmap focuses on "Digital Awareness Integration" and "Economic Sovereignty for Women" as fundamental tools to eradicate violence, ensuring a transition toward a more modernized and inclusive society in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
